Chiropractic

Chiropractors use adjustments to bring motion back into the joints of the spine where they feel any restricted movements. Science has shown us that where there is lack of movement, a build up of inflammation occurs. This inflammation can irritate the nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments in that area. Prolonged lack of movement has shown to cause damage to these structures.

The "popping" or "cracking" you hear with an adjustment is nothing breaking or tearing. This "crack" is actually pressure being released from a joint. By releasing this pressure, more fluid is pushed into the joint for more lubrication to bring motion into the joint.

The Activator Method is a technique that utilizes an instrument called an Activator that elicits a high velocity low amplitude (HVLA) adjustment. It is a safe and effective method to adjust the spine without the manual chiropractic adjustment.

Chiropractic is safe and effective for people of all ages. It has been used as a drug-free pain relief option for decades and is also cost effective.
